I've been in the animation industry for 25 years, most of this time I have been animating, starting at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark and then weaving my way through the industry at the time of the Stop Motion renaissance.

​Throughout this time my real enjoyment comes from the process of animating, of taking a still object and giving it life. I enjoy the performance, being the off screen actor, bringing the words and action from the script to life.

At the end of 2018 I was put in charge of the Animation team on Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. In this new role I found immense enjoyment working closer with the rest of the teams from each department, building the film, and taking my experience from all the different studio settings I have worked in and applying only what I thought to be the best ideas of how to set up an Animation team for success.

Most recently I've been directing the animation on the TV show "In the Know" for US streamer Peacock,  which was great joy, in that we continued to work with the incredibly talented crew from the two films recently made here in Portland (Wendell & Wild and GDT's Pinocchio) so lots of energy and talent was put into the performance of the characters.
